Meet Dr. Shaw
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte, Dr. Wesley Shaw earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University, where he graduated at the top of his class. In addition to his degree in dentistry, Dr. Shaw has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, sedation, and endodontics, which involves root canal diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Shaw is passionate about finding the best ways to restore his patients’ smiles and relieve their pain while keeping as many procedures as possible under one roof. When he is not caring for patients in the office, Dr. Shaw enjoys playing golf and being by the water.

Julia graduated at the top of her class at CVCC and proudly dedicated her education and skills to helping Dr. Shaw care for the patients at Valley Hills Dentistry. When she’s away from the office, Julia loves going to the beach and spending time with her family and her furbaby, an Australian Shepherd named Blue.
Megan
Dental Hygienist
There’s nothing Megan loves more than helping her patients at Valley Hills Dentistry enjoy healthier smiles, teaching them how to take better care of their teeth through good oral hygiene. Megan is also a proud mother of three wonderful children and a graduate of UNC.
Lauren
Dental Assistant
Lauren has been a dental assistant for over 20 years and has a special place in her heart for cosmetic dentistry. The only thing Lauren loves more than helping her patients at Valley Hills Dentistry rediscover their smiles is her two children and relaxing with her family by the poolside.
Maddie
Dental Assistant/Front Desk Administrator
Maddie splits her time between caring for patients in the back of the office and helping Shea keep the office running efficiently at the front desk. She has wanted to be in dentistry since she was a little girl and loves pursuing that dream as part of the Valley Hills Dentistry team. Maddie and her husband, Andrew, have their beautiful daughter, Collins.

Office Manager
Shea has built a diverse career in dentistry for more than 20 years. During that time, she has been a dental assistant, a front desk administrator, and now the office manager at Valley Hills Dentistry. In addition to keeping the office running smoothly, Shea enjoys spending her free time with her three children and her husband, Justin.
